Life keeps piling on more than you can carry, your feeds are full of neurodivergent content, and lately you’ve been wondering: Could this be ADHD? You’re ready for some real answers - not just a quick diagnosis, but a comprehensive, trauma-informed ADHD test and assessment that considers your full, complex story.
I’ve been there. And I can help.
At Sound Mind Seattle, I offer holistic ADHD testing for adults living in Washington, helping you move from confusion and chaos toward clarity, tangible next steps and a calmer, more confident future.
How does ThE ASsessment Process work?
Screening
Assessments slots are limited, but it’s often possible to schedule within a week or two after you reach out.
Before we meet, you’ll complete a series of assessments on your own. During our 80-minute screening session, we’ll review your results together and explore whether ADHD is likely - and what other factors or diagnoses might also be influencing your experiences. You’ll receive education and supportive therapy throughout the process, as this journey can often stir up strong emotions.
Summary
After our session, I’ll compile your results and our observations into a detailed summary letter. This document is formatted to share with a doctor or psychiatrist if you decide to pursue medical treatment.
As an LMHCA in Washington State, I'm authorized to diagnose ADHD, so this assessment process can lead to a real diagnosis, not just a referral on to the next step.
Next Steps
Together, we’ll identify customized strategies and non-medication changes you can start right away to ease the symptoms that are weighing you down.
I’ll help you plan your next steps, advocate for yourself with healthcare providers, and begin creating a better fit between your life, your work, and your mind. If you’d like ongoing support afterward, ADHD therapy and coaching sessions are available at $300 for 50 minutes.
THE COST
The full assessment package is $800 - your 80-minute session, email support, a follow-up session, and a detailed summary letter with real diagnostic authority behind it. For context, many multi-session evaluations elsewhere run $1,500–$5,000+, often over months.
Prefer to talk it through first? Book a free 15-minute consult, no obligation.

Yes. As an LMHCA in Washington State, I'm authorized to diagnose ADHD, so this is a real diagnosis, not just a screening pointing you toward one. You'll receive a detailed summary letter you can share with a prescribing provider, school, or other institution. In most cases, that's sufficient.
Occasionally a specific institution or insurer has its own additional documentation requirements, so if you're working with a particular provider or program, it's worth confirming ahead of time.
Since accessing full evaluations or psychiatric services elsewhere can take months, many clients find this gets them real answers and a path forward much faster.

I’m an out-of-network (OON) provider, so I am not contracted directly with any insurance companies.
Instead, I partner with a company called Thrizer, with the goal of making it easier to submit superbills to your insurance company. They’ll check your OON coverage for this service, automatically submit superbills for you, and even offer the option to avoid having to float the cost of the session fee while you’re waiting for reimbursement.
Get in touch with me if you’d like me to help you check on your OON benefits or if you have any questions.

My assessment process will help us “rule out” disorders with overlapping or similar symptoms to ADHD. If ADHD isn’t the best fit, I'll help you explore what else might be going on and guide you toward next steps, whether that's additional evaluation, therapy, referral to another provider, or other support options.
